Super Bowl 5G Stadium
Our goal was to leverage America’s biggest TV event of the year to show what Verizon 5G can do, and shout from the rooftops that not only is 5G in Miami, but it will change everything.
We created the Verizon 5G Stadium: the beacon of the Super Bowl fan zone and showed NFL fans how 5G makes football fantasy a reality by transporting them to a fully immersive fan experience. After entering our 5G portal fans found themselves at the center of a custom built 8,000 sq. ft. dome. Here, through projection mapping and augmented reality, guests were transported to a live in-stadium simulation that enabled them to experience the power of 5G Ultra Wideband firsthand.
We showcased the future of 5G to consumers and the roof deck and interior spaces were utilized for Verizon business and media group experiences throughout Super Bowl LIV.
This was the highest attended event ever at Super Bowl Live & broke attendance records for our on-the ground experience. The end result was 2.1B media impressions, 10,245 Verizon 5G Stadium attendees, +13% YoY attendance, +21% YoY engagements 144K total, +31% increase to recommend Verizon, and 18,771 5G demo engagements.
